SSCC Volunteer Day
March 26, 2022

The morning of March 26, 2022, was Volunteer Clean-Up Day at the South Shore Country Club (SSCC) sponsored by the Friends of the South Shore Country Club. It is a by-gone tradition of course remediation for all friends, golfers and non-golfers of SSCC to help get the season started. The turnout was robust with over 50 participants including permit holders, frequent patrons and interested community members along with enthusiastic representation from the boys and girls High School Golf Team and the local Hingham Girl’s Scout Troop. The day was a huge success on a number of levels; this initial work not only puts the cleaning effort way ahead of the curve this time of year, it allows the grounds crew to focus on larger more relevant and technical projects to enhance the overall experience at our SSCC.
